Originally from Ireland, Maisie-Kate grew up on the outskirts of the creative coastal city of Galway. Fashion and styling have been intrinsic to her career path right from the beginning: her first job as a teenager was even as a Bridal Consultant. After completing a four-year degree in Fashion Design at the Limerick School of Art and Design, Maisie-Kate emigrated to London to progress in the industry, which led to roles as a luxury womenswear stylist at Selfridges, in fabric sales working with clients such as Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood, and as a freelance pattern maker and seamstress for clients across the UK. 

Moving to New York in 2015, Maisie-Kate furthered her studies in Pattern Making at the Fashion Institute of Technology, before training as a Couture Pattern Maker for a NYC-based womenswear company and becoming an accredited Sewing & Fashion Instructor. She has since turned her hand to many pursuits which has allowed her to see all aspects of fashion design and styling. To date, Maisie-Kate’s experience has seen her work across everything from projects with magazines and department stores to VIPs and celebrities. 

With the launch of Maisie-Kate Style in 2021, she continued her love of bridal styling and built upon almost eight years of experience working with brides on luxury weddings across the US, Europe, and beyond. As a natural people person and problem solver with a honed eye for perfection, Maisie-Kate’s goal is to make her brides’ experience seamless, flawless, and stress-free from sunrise to sunset for the biggest moment of their lives.
